Tottenham duo Yves Bissouma and Destiny Udogie are walking disciplinary tightropes after picking up yellow cards during Spurs' 2-1 win over Liverpool on Saturday (30 September).

Bissouma's booking was his fourth of the Premier League season while Udogie picked up a third yellow card of the campaign.

Premier League rules state that "any player earning five bookings from his side's first 19 Premier League matches will have to serve a one-match ban in the same competition".

Therefore, should the Mali international receive a card against Luton Town on Saturday (7 October) he will miss Spurs' home match against Fulham when the Premier League returns after the international break.

With matches against Chelsea, Aston Villa and Manchester City in the not-too-distant future, Ange Postecoglou will no doubt have one eye on both Bissouma and Udogie's discipline over the next few games.

Ex-Spurs scout Bryan King told Tottenham News:

"I think Bissouma gets into situations he shouldn't. There are matches like the Arsenal and Liverpool game which are played at a high tempo and he seems to struggle with that tempo.

"Whether it is down to a lack of playing time in the past, he seems to dwell a lot on the ball and some of his challenges are a little bit suspect.

"I think he has just got to up his game. He had a half-decent game against Liverpool but he has not been a player who has overly impressed me this season. He has got to up his tempo in the way he plays."
