Victor Froholdt could feature as part of a new-look Tottenham side next season.

Froholdt has been on Tottenham's radar for a while after rising through the ranks at F.C. Copenhagen in the last two years.

It has been a chaotic week at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with several sackings, including former boss Ange Postecoglou (6 June).

However, as the dust begins to settle, Daniel Levy is expected to focus on next season and incomings, with Froholdt emerging as a key target.

However, the Danish side are ready to sell the 19-year-old this summer, with Tottenham once again registering an interest.

As reported by Florian Plettenberg via X (5 June), Tottenham have entered the race for Froholdt, who is under contract with F.C. Copenhagen until 2028.

However, Spurs will need to act quickly, as several top European clubs are monitoring the midfielder closely, including Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen.

And Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – would welcome Froholdt's arrival.

“I did some reading about Froholdt after the initial links,” Wenham said.

“He has won some awards, he was named F.C. Copenhagen’s Player of the Season by their supporters, and it is likely that this is another player Johan Lange has identified.

“If he could have a similar kind of impact as Lucas Bergvall, his addition would be welcome at Tottenham, as long as some experienced players are signed alongside him.”

Tottenham should go all out for Froholdt

Levy should do all he can to bring Froholdt to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.

Football is currently in a transitional period where young talents are coming through and dominating at the top level.

Players like Lamine Yamal and Desire Doue, and closer to home, Archie Gray, are performing on the biggest stages at a young age.

If Tottenham want to compete for all trophies next season, they not only need to invest in future talent, but the club must trust them to take over the mantle.
