Ashleigh Neville was one of the few Tottenham Women players who delivered in the 3-0 defeat to Arsenal Women on Saturday.

Following their North London derby defeat at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (16 November), Spurs have now lost five of their last six matches in the Barclays Women's Super League, their only win a 3-1 victory against West Ham Women at Brisbane Road (3 November).

However, this latest defeat was perhaps the most painful in that run, considering the opposition.

Plenty of Vilahamn's players left much to be desired with their performances against the Gunners. However, defender Neville could at least leave the pitch with her head held high after the disappointing defeat.

While Spurs weren't at their best defensively as a team, Neville was fairly solid in her own performance at right-back.

As per Sofascore, the 31-year-old made seven tackles, three interceptions and two clearances. In addition, she won nine of her 12 ground duels and 100 per cent of her aerial duels (two out of two).

She did struggle slightly on the ball, completing just 66 per cent of her passes, while only 50 per cent of her long balls were accurate. However, she also provided an accurate cross into the box with her only attempt.

Therefore, on a day where positives were far and few between for Vilahamn and Spurs, the Swede would have at least been delighted with Neville's contributions.

Robert Vilahamn enjoyed a positive first season in charge of Tottenham Women.

And if Spurs are to turn things around in the coming weeks, more players will need to put in displays like Neville did.
