Robert Vilahamn will be keeping a close eye on Tottenham Women gem Araya Dennis over the coming months.

Spurs have been in much better form over their past few matches, with Beth England back to her best.

Therefore, there is a lot for Vilahamn to be positive about, especially after the recent emergence of talented young shot-stopper Eleanor Heeps.

And Heeps isn't the only youngster who Spurs can be excited about in North London, with 18-year-old Dennis also one to keep an eye on for the future.

As confirmed via Spurs' official website on Friday (10 January), Dennis has joined FA Women’s Championship side Southampton on loan for the remainder of 2024/25 campaign, and Vilahamn will no doubt be keen to see how the forward gets on.

Dennis signed a professional contract with Spurs in February 2024 and has made two appearances for the club this season.

She netted her first goal for the club off the bench in a 2-0 Women's League Cup win over Crystal Palace Women at Borough Sports Ground (11 December).

As per Sofascore, that day Dennis compiled 100 per cent of her passes in addition to her goal, while she also got stuck in defensively by making two interceptions and winning two ground duels.

The youngster also provided one accurate cross into the box. However, there was room for improvement as she only managed to complete one of her three dribble attempts and was dribbled past once.

Therefore, Vilahamn will hope that Dennis can begin to polish her raw potential while out on loan.
