Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has named his starting line-up for the Premier League clash with Wolves at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs play host to mid-table Wolves on Saturday (17 February) aiming to win for a sixth successive league game on home soil.

Postecoglou made four changes for the contest, as confirmed by Tottenham's official website, with Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro's absences already known coming into the weekend.

Ben Davies and Emerson Royal were recalled to the XI in the duo's absence, but Postecoglou surely should have opted for Radu Dragusin at the back for this match.

Radu Dragusin awaiting first Tottenham start

The big-money January arrival is still awaiting his first start for Tottenham, despite these injury absences at the back.

While Dragusin is a centre-back by trade, he is capable of playing at full-back and that may have been a good ploy against Wolves' attacking wide players.

We have seen little of the Romanian so far, having played for a total of just eight minutes across three substitute appearances.

However, he has already shown more than a few glimpses of what he is capable of. In the 2-2 draw with Everton, for example, he won 100 per cent of his three duels [Sofascore].

Royal's last league start came against Burnley in December when misplacing nine of his passes and winning just nine out of 15 duels.

Son Heung-min hits ground running after Asian Cup exertions

That is not to say Royal is a terrible option at the back, but Dragusin must be wondering when he will get into the side.

Elsewhere, Son Heung-min was recalled to the starting line-up after making an instant impact on his return from the Asian Cup.

Son assisted Brennan Johnson's late winner in the 2-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend - one of 12 attempted passes he completed, misplacing just one (92 per cent).

Pedro Porro
The absence of Pedro Porro has left a void to be filled for Tottenham in their Premier League clash with Wolves

Not only did Johnson grab the headlines with his last-gasp winner, he also impressively won three of his four attempted duels.

It is a tad surprising that Johnson is therefore named among the substitutes to face Wolves, but at the same time Son was always likely to start along with Richarlison.

The fourth change sees Yves Bissouma come in for Rodrigo Bentancur as Spurs look to register just a second clean sheet in 16 league matches, and a first since December.
