Tottenham could be set for a busy couple of weeks in the January transfer window.

Ange Postecoglou remains under pressure in North London with calls for the Australian to be sacked after Spurs failed to score in normal time during their 3-0 FA Cup third-round victory over non-league Tamworth at the Lamb Ground on Sunday (12 January).

Therefore, Postecoglou will be keen for reinforcements to be brought in over the coming weeks, especially after seeing the impact Antonín Kinský has made in such a short space of time - a transfer which Daniel Levy had a personal involvement with.

Here, Tottenham News rounds up all the incoming and outgoing news in N17 from Monday, 13 January.

Tottenham begin talks for Marcus Rashford amid wage reveal

According to the Independent (13 January), Postecoglou's side have started informal talks over a January loan move for Marcus Rashford.

Spurs want to sign the Manchester United forward until the end of the season. However, a deal could be hard to agree as Rashford is earning more than £300,000-per-week, a figure which Tottenham would not be willing to cover.

Therefore, any potential agreement would depend on whether or not United were willing to cover Rashford's wages.

Alfie Dorrington signs new contract ahead of Tottenham loan exit

Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge reported via X (13 January), that Alfie Dorrington was set to leave Spurs on loan at some point in the coming days.

And it was confirmed via the club's official website on Monday (13 January) that the 19-year-old has signed a new contract in North London until 2029 ahead of joining Aberdeen on loan for the rest of the season.
