Crystal Palace attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze is back to his pre Achilles injury fitness levels amid transfer links to Tottenham and Manchester United, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that after his lengthy setback in 2022, the rehab will have been intense and that the muscle issue he faced in 2023/24, should not be of any significant concern.

This comes after The Sun reported on 8 June that Spurs are United want to sign the England international who has a £60million release clause.

Discussing the state of play with Eze exclusively with Tottenham NewsDr Brara doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said: "At this point and how he’s been playing, he looks to be back to pre-injury levels following the Achilles tendon rupture.

"That injury happened a while back that kept him out for around six months and the rehab would've been intense.

"He did have the muscular injury this season but that’s not out of the norm for elite footballers and he's all and all in good shape."

Eberechi Eze should be a priority for Tottenham

Eze should be a priority target for Tottenham as he would immediately make Ange Postecoglou's side a more dynamic outfit.

As a versatile attacking midfielder, the 25-year-old could significantly bolster Spurs' attack.

His ability to score and create goals would add a new dimension to the team's attack, making them less predictable and more potent.

His age and experience in the Premier League suggest he could quickly adapt to the team's style of play, and make an immediate impact, thus justifying shelling out the release clause for him.
