Bryan King believes Tottenham will sell Emerson Royal this summer amid interest from AC Milan.

The ex-Spurs scout cannot see the right-back playing regularly under Ange Postecoglou next season.

It comes after a report via Fabrizio Romano on X (14 May) revealed that Emerson is high on AC Milan's list of right-back targets, with the player expected to leave Spurs this summer.

And King - speaking exclusively to Tottenham News - sees the deal getting done with relative ease.

"I think Emerson will be sold," King said.

"He hasn't been playing regularly and he is unlikely to get regular football under Postecoglou.

"Emerson is a very good squad player, he has filled in well across several positions.

"However, if he is going to be guaranteed first-team football elsewhere, and the money is right, Tottenham will sell him."

Ange Postecoglou likely to allow Emerson Royal to leave Tottenham

It is hard to see Postecoglou standing in the way of Emerson leaving.

The Brazillian has been nothing more than a squad player this season.

Emerson Royal could leave Tottenham this summer.

It has become apparent in recent weeks that Postecoglou needs improvements throughout his squad.

If Spurs are offered a reasonable fee for the defender then Daniel Levy should accept the proposal and reinvest the money on an upgrade.
