Tottenham may be planning to cash in on Pedro Porro, as a new transfer target has already been set in N17.

The Spain international has been a crucial player for the North London outfit over the last few years, performing consistently well.

It's no surprise that Porro has attracted interest from the likes of Real Madrid after what he has done at the Lilywhites over the last few seasons.

Djed Spence's emergence also gives Spurs another option at right-back, making the former Manchester City defender's exit feasible.

Porro could leave as Tottenham eye new right-back

Ange Postecoglou has struggled at Spurs this season with multiple injury issues in his backline, but the only constant has been the Spanish full-back.

The 25-year-old has once again been influential for the North London outfit despite their poor results recently.

Spence had a hard time breaking into the Lilywhites' squad after moving from Middlesbrough, but the 24-year-old has taken his chances this season.

Rayo Vallecano defender Andrei Ratiu is attracting interest from Tottenham ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Ratiu a transfer target for Spurs

If a new right-back were to be signed, it would only make sense if Spurs accepted a hefty sum for Porro this summer.

The news outlet reports (2 March) that the North London outfit are one of the Romanian star's suitors, with a summer exit potentially on the cards.

As things stand, the 26-year-old's current contract at the La Liga outfit runs until 2028 and includes a release clause of around £20million.

Daniel Levy needs to sanction a revamp at the Lilywhites after what has been another disappointing campaign.

The squad seemingly needs an overhaul, with several players coming to the end of their prime and others suffering consistent fitness issues.

While Postecoglou needs to take some blame for Spurs' position in the Premier League, he hasn't been helped by the board or the players.

The North London outfit can't continue to sack managers and should give the Australian manager more time in the dugout.

Whether Ratiu will be one of many singing in N17 in the coming months remains to be seen.
