Tottenham forward Wilson Odobert is expected to be out for several weeks due to his hamstring injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that as he's had surgery, he's not expected to be back before the end of 2024 and he will be out for several weeks.

The 19-year-old joined Spurs over the summer and has played six games under Ange Postecoglou.

Discussing the state of play with Odobert exclusively with Tottenham NewsDr Brara doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, shared his verdict.

"Sounds like another hamstring injury but not the same hamstring which was injured before", he said.

"Not uncommon since the hamstrings are a group of different muscles so having injury to one can put more strain on the rest.

"As he's had surgery, I do not see him returning before the end of the year and will be out for several weeks."

Wilson Odobert has endured a tough start to life at Tottenham

The 19-year-old's fitness issues have restricted him to just three appearances for the Lilywhites and he will not be pleased with how things have unfolded.

When he joined, he would've had the expectation of playing more and perhaps convincing Postecoglou that he could give serious competition to Dominic Solanke.

It remains to be seen once he's back as it seems a tad premature to put a timeline on his return.
