Tottenham ratings v Everton: Spurs trio score 3/10s as Postecoglou faces sack

Ange Postecoglou could be sacked after Tottenham were beaten 3-2 by Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.

Daniel Levy has been mooted to immediately sack Postecoglou after Spurs suffered their 12th Premier League defeat of the season on 19 January.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Iliman Ndiaye and an Archie Gray own goal secured all three points for the Toffees, with Son Heung-min one of many Spurs players who were all over the place on Merseyside as the South Korean was targeted by the home faithful.

Tottenham News have rated each player's performance against Everton out of 10.

Antonín Kinský - 7

By far Spurs' best player on the pitch, despite conceding three goals. Made several key saves to prevent the scoreline from becoming truly embarrassing.

Pedro Porro - 4

The Spaniard's bad run of form continued with a subpar performance at Goodison Park.

Ben Davies - 5

A tough game for the Welshman to make his return to the team. However, he wasn't necessarily at fault for any of the three goals.

Radu Drăgușin - 3

Completely sent for the second Everton goal and didn't do much to prevent the first either. Once again looked out of his depth before being hooked at half-time with an injury concern.

Djed Spence - 6

Arguably Spurs' best outfield player, although that isn't saying much. He hardly put a foot wrong defensively and tried to get Spurs forward whenever he could.

Pape Matar Sarr - 4

Sloppy play as he gave the ball away in the build-up to Everton's opening goal. Part of a disjointed Spurs midfielder before being hooked for Mikey Moore.

Archie Gray - 4

Wasn't his finest performance despite playing in his preferred midfield position for the first half. Was unlucky to concede an own goal late in the first half.

James Maddison and Son Heung-min let Tottenham down

James Maddison - 3

Did absolutely nothing to justify Postecoglou's decision to start him. The Englishman deserves to return to the bench after a completely disjointed performance.

Lucas Bergvall - 5

One of the few Spurs players who wasn't completely all over the place at Goodison Park. Worked hard and looked to get the team forward where he could.

Son Heung-min - 3

The South Korean is a complete shadow of his former self. He missed a huge opportunity to level proceedings which could have changed the game and carried no threat in possession. A sad decline.

Dejan Kulusevski - 6

Spurs' best outfield player alongside Spence. Was one of the few who showed some quality, particularly with a wonderful finish to reduce the deficit.

Subsitutes

Richarlison (On for Drăgușin at HT) - 5

Scored a late goal for Spurs, which proved to be nothing more than a consolation. However, Spurs fans will hope it is a sign that he can step up in the absence of Dominic Solanke.

Mikey Moore (On for Sarr, 74') - 5

Played a lovely ball into the box which Richarlison tucked home. Worked hard after coming on.
