Tottenham outcast Sergio Reguilon has aimed a disrespectful message at Ange Postecoglou following the 4-3 win over Manchester United.

The 28-year-old has been sent on numerous loans in the past three seasons and is out of favour at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

He made his first appearance for the Lilywhites this campaign in a one-minute cameo at the end of the victory and has been linked with an exit by Spurs insider John Wenham. [11 December]

The Spanish full-back took to Instagram after the contest and made a dig at the manager for not selecting him on regular basis, saying: "Look mum, I played a football game yesterday."

Reguilon not content with the situation at Tottenham

The Spaniard is not content with his situation in North London at the moment.

He has failed to impress Postecoglou after returning from loan spells at Athletico Madrid, Manchester United and Brentford.

Spurs have gone through a defensive injury crisis in recent weeks with Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Ben Davies out of action and Reguilon still has not been called upon with Archie Gray deputising at centre-back.

That highlights that Postecoglou does not rate the full-back and there is no chance of him reinvigorating his career with the Lilywhites while the Australian is in the dugout.

It is highly likely that the former Real Madrid man leaves in January as he is surplus to requirements unless Postecoglou is sacked before that.

The former Celtic boss is likely to survive until at least January, so there is little hope for Reguilon.
