Tottenham news: Groundbreaking Fabio Paratici update emerges

Fabio Paratici has been helping Tottenham from the shadows despite not being officially contracted to the club.

The Italian resigned as the Director of Football of the club after failing to overcome his 30-month ban from the game.

However, he may soon return to football as things appear to be going behind the scenes.

Spurs considered bringing Fabio Paratici back to North London

Give Me Sport reported on 21 March that the Lilywhites did consider bringing Paratici back in an official capacity.

However, he is now wanted by Serie A giants AC Milan who want him to return to Italy.

He was previously at Juventus and does have a deep understanding of the Italian game as well.

Paratici was at Juventus for 11 years and that's where he was found guilty by an Italian court for false accounting.

While he has denied any wrongdoing, an appeal was made in an attempt to overturn the decision which was then cancelled.

Johan Lange upgrade must be hired by Tottenham

If Paratici joins AC Milan, it could spell trouble for Tottenham, particularly with regards to Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur - two players he shrewdly brought to the club during his tenure.

With his deep knowledge of the Italian game and prior success at Juventus, Paratici would likely leverage his familiarity with these talents to bolster Milan’s squad.

Kulusevski, a dynamic Swedish winger, and Bentancur, a versatile Uruguayan midfielder, were standout signings under Paratici’s watch, and his potential move to Milan might see the Serie A giants target them in the summer transfer window.
