Bryan King is interested to see how the relationship between Westerlo and Tottenham pans out.

The ex-Spurs scout thinks collaboration between the English and Belgian sides could be "extremely positive."

Alfie Devine and pre-agreed Tottenham signing Luka Vušković are both currently on loan at Westerlo. As a result, the Belgian Pro League side recently shared via X (7 November) that "constructive talks" have been held with Tottenham, which paves the way for future collaboration.

And King - speaking exclusively to Tottenham News - thinks this can only be a positive thing.

“This is good news,” King said.

“All of this sounds extremely positive on paper. However, when it is put into practice, that is when it becomes very interesting to see if it is going to work.

“I see no harm in Spurs striking up a relationship with this club. Vušković has certainly benefited from his time with Westerlo. Those sorts of things are always positive for a football club.”

Tottenham to benefit from a positive relationship with Westerlo?

Spurs and Westerlo having a positive working relationship can only be a good thing.

Vušković is making a name for himself with the Belgian side, which will better prepare him for his arrival in England.

As a result, Spurs could perhaps look to loan more of their young talent to Westerlo. In addition, should Ange Postecoglou see any player he likes at the club, this positive relationship might make a transfer easier.

Therefore, this is an example of Daniel Levy helping the club to move forward in the right direction.
