Mohammed Kudus has become an instant fan favourite at Tottenham.

Kudus joined Spurs from West Ham in the summer as Thomas Frank looked to add attacking depth to his newfound squad.

West Ham were quick to snub Kudus as the London Stadium faithful suggested that Spurs had made a mistake by signing the 25-year-old.

The Hammers have been proven wrong, with Kudus making an instant impact at Tottenham as a key player in his opening 10 games.

Kudus is also seen as one of the best from Ghana right now.

Tottenham News has now learned exactly what their fans think of the versatile attacker.

Mohammed Kudus now star player for Ghana

The forward was seen as a future superstar during his days with Ajax, as he delivered many top performances in the Champions League.

It feels as if his switch to West Ham harmed his career, as his goal output slowed down significantly last season.

He looks to have turned a corner with Spurs after what has been a hugely positive start at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

This has been reflected on the international stage with Kudus shining for Ghana against the Central African Republic on Wednesday.

Ghanaian football expert Owuraku Ampofo has now revealed that the 25-year-old is held in high esteem in his homeland after his performances this campaign.

Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Ampofo said: "He’s definitely seen as the star player right now. Ghanaians are all pleased to see how his game is evolving as he is assisting a lot now."

Brennan Johnson could struggle up against Kudus at Tottenham

Johnson has often played off the right for Spurs and has thrived at times in front of goal.

The Wales international looks to be in for a difficult season this time around as he continues to battle with Kudus for minutes in North London.

The Ghanaian currently has excellent self-belief and the backing of an entire nation to thrive at Tottenham.

With that sort of confidence, it could be hard for Johnson to make his presence felt in a position where he has often shone.

It will be interesting to see if Kudus can keep up this level of performance, but the whole of Ghana will undoubtedly be in his corner.
