Son Heung-min could be set to leave Tottenham after jetting out of the UK.

The South Korea international lifted the Europa League trophy less than two weeks ago, but could now find himself on the way out of North London.

This comes after a frustrating season by the 32-year-old's usual standards as Spurs slumped down the Premier League table under Ange Postecoglou.

With the future of the Australian already at risk, the Lilywhites skipper could also be in line to follow the head coach out the door on Hotspur Way.

Son jets out ahead of Tottenham exit

There is no doubt that the winger has arguably been the N17 club's best signing of the modern era after joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015.

This has seen the ex-Hamburg man make over 450 appearances in white, with his spell potentially set to end after the glory in Bilbao.

After a disappointing season on the domestic front, Daniel Levy and Co. could look to cash in on the South Korean ready for the upcoming campaign.

With that in mind, The Telegraph reported on 3 June that Son could be on the chopping block at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Spurs look to generate funds to transform their squad.

Given that the forward has just one year left on his current deal, long-standing interest from Saudi Arabia could be activated before the end of the summer window.

The Lilywhites captain has already jetted out of the UK for international duty for clashes against Iraq and Kuwait, but he is unexpected to play due to injury.

Son may leave Tottenham for Saudi Pro League switch

It would certainly be a bold call for Levy to part ways with the skipper after such a stellar career in North London across his 10-year stint.

With that being said, the chairman could also be in line to sack Postecoglou after winning the Europa League, so widespread changes could be in line for the Lilywhites.

This could see funds be raised by the sale of the Korean to be spent on potential additions like Bryan Mbeumo, who doesn't necessarily represent a clear upgrade on Son.
