Oliver Glasner reveals 'next steps' after major Tottenham appointment news
Oliver Glasner has spoken out on his Crystal Palace future as the Austrian is linked with replacing Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham.
Glasner has been linked with Tottenham and strengthened his credentials by winning the FA Cup with Crystal Palace after beating Manchester City 1-0 at Wembley on Saturday (17 May).
Tottenham's progression in Europe has delayed Ange Postecoglou's inevitable departure. However, the Australian is still expected to leave Tottenham after the UEFA Europa League final.
As a result, there will be pressure on Daniel Levy not to falter with his next managerial appointment, and Glasner has dropped a major hint over whether that might be him.
Glasner reaffirms commitment to Crystal Palace
However, the 50-year-old recently revealed that he was committed to Crystal Palace.

In quotes published via The Guardian (19 May), Glasner said, “For me, the next step is to play between [positions] eight and 12 [in the league]. Very stable.
"Because you can see in the Premier League, there are a few top teams, huge clubs. Because you can quickly be at the bottom of the league table. This is why I think it’s very good.
“Every day, I think about how we can improve as a team and as a club. My own thoughts are about this. I’m 100% here.”
Palace are currently 12th in the Premier League, five spots above Spurs with 11 more points on the board.
In addition, the Eagles have also qualified for the UEFA Europa League by winning the FA Cup. Therefore, even the possible allure of UEFA Champions League football might not be enough to convince Glasner to swap South London for North London.
Tottenham could face 'Erik Ten Haag' situation
Tottenham could face a similar situation to what fellow Europa League finalists Manchester United experienced last season with Erik Ten Hag.
Postecoglou is only one game away from bringing silverware to a club that have been starved of it. As a result, if Spurs are successful, this could evoke an emotional reaction from fans that could hamper the club's decision-making process.
If that was paired with Levy struggling to lock down one of Tottenham's preferred candidates, then it may leave Tottenham with the same conundrum as the Red Devils, whereby sacking Postecoglou no longer necessarily becomes the most sensible or popular option.
