Mikey Moore hailed as 'fearless' claim emerges after Tottenham win v AZ Alkmaar
John Wenham has hailed Mikey Moore after his display at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the 1-0 UEFA Europa League win against AZ Alkmaar on Thursday (24 October).
The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose thinks the 17-year-old made a name for himself in North London on Thursday.
Moore played 88 minutes against AZ Alkmaar, dazzling with his performance and sending a message to Ange Postecoglou that he can handle first-team football.
And Wenham - speaking exclusively to Tottenham News - claims the young winger's progress is a joy to watch.
“It was a fearless, confident performance from Moore,” Wenham said.
“That display will light his name up to those who might have just heard the odd thing or two about him.
“It was a dominant, exciting display. He was demanding the ball and running at people, doing all the things he does in academy games, but at senior level.
“Therefore, that was exciting to see.”

He got his wish against AZ Alkmaar, and after the 17-year-old's display against the Dutch side, Wenham will hope to see Moore continue starting.
The young forward certainly proved he is deserving of first-team minutes in this competition, and Postecoglou would be unwise to drop him.
Moore is flying high, full of confidence with the display against AZ Alkmaar his best in a Spurs shirt. As a result, Postecoglou must start him in some of Spurs' trickier European ties.
