Tottenham supporters will be growing concerned about 17-year-old forward Mikey Moore.

Moore has been missing for several weeks now due to a virus.

As reported by Football London [27 November], the young forward was nowhere to be seen in Spurs' first-team training session on Wednesday ahead of the clash with the Serie A side, which Postecoglou could make as many as six changes for.

Therefore, supporters will no doubt be growing concerned about what exactly has happened to Moore.

Mikey Moore continues to miss out for Tottenham

When a player is ruled out with a virus, most fans would expect to see them back within a couple of weeks.

However, Moore hasn't featured for Spurs since their 4-1 Premier League victory over Aston Villa at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium [3 November], almost one month ago.

He was also absent for the Young Lions during the international break. Therefore, it appears as though whatever Moore is suffering from has impacted him quite badly.

As a result, fans will no doubt be concerned and desperate for some kind of clarity on the situation. From a selfish point of view, Postecoglou will be desperate to get Moore back as soon as possible.

With Guglielmo Vicario having undergone surgery after fracturing his ankle, which could leave him out of action for over eight weeks, Rodrigo Bentancur suspended, and Micky van de Ven still unavailable, Postecoglou can't afford too many more long-term absentees.

However, the Australian will just have to be patient. It sounds as though Moore has been hit quite hard, and Spurs won't want to rush him back, especially considering his age.
