Bryan King has been told that Tottenham gem Mikey Moore is "a big talent."

The ex-Spurs scout believes the 17-year-old has a big future in football.

And King - speaking exclusively to Tottenham News - has detailed what he has been told by people who have worked closely alongside the youngster.

"It was quite exciting to see Moore come on against Brentford," King said.

"He'd been doing extra work behind the scenes before Tottenham, with a personal coach. He's been working with a friend of mine, Ian Atkins' son, Jamie Atkins.

"Jamie runs a camp for young players who want to do extra, it is called Peak Performance. Jamie has worked with Moore and I've been told by both Ian and Jamie that this kid is a big talent.

"I think Moore has a real future in the game, he looks very confident. The likes of Harry Kane, Glen Hoddle, and Steve Perryman, they all got in the team at a young age. Therefore, let's hope Moore can follow in their footsteps."

Mikey Moore to shine under Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham

Moore is one of the brightest Tottenham academy talents for quite some time.

At the age of 17, he is already a fringe player within the first-team squad. Therefore, supporters will be hoping to see much more of the young forward this season.

With the UEFA Europa League set to get underway on Thursday (26 September), there could soon be some more opportunities for Moore to feature in the first-team.
