Ange Postecoglou is once again without Micky van de Ven for the clash with Brentford on Sunday.

Spurs arrive at the Gtech Community Stadium on 2 February 16th in the Premier League and in desperate need of three points, with Postecoglou under serious pressure amid a Thomas Frank bombshell.

Daniel Levy has been accused of killing Tottenham as a "scary" relegation fear emerges, and if Postecoglou and his players want to quiet talk about a shock relegation, three points against the Bees would certainly go a long way in doing that.

However, the absence of van de Ven as confirmed via the club's official X account (2 February), has made things all the more difficult in West London.

Van de Ven returned from injury in the 3-0 UEFA Europa League win over IF Elfsborg at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday (30 January). However, fans were fuming with the decision to start the Dutchman.

And if he is injured once again, that would justify supporters' anger.

As per Sofascore, van de Ven won 100 per cent of his aerial duels and one of his two ground duels while he also completed 99 per cent of his passes against IF Elfsborg.

In addition, the 23-year-old was accurate with 100 per cent of his long balls, only gave possession away twice, and made one clearance and one tackle before being hooked at halftime.
