Tottenham have a new look under boss Thomas Frank.

Spurs have started the season well, picking up 11 points in six games, their most notable a 2-0 win away at the Etihad.

Frank has chopped and changed his team throughout the start of the season, especially rotating the midfield.

The former Brentford boss made a few new signings but kept the core of the team that lifted the Europa League.

Lucas Bergvall was a shining light in a Tottenham team that finished 17th last year and looks to continue his form under Frank.

Bergvall's stats last season

Bergvall played as a traditional number eight under Ange Postecoglou and started 11 times in the Premier League last season.

Frank has given him a new role in his system, playing as a number 10.

Speaking in the pre-match press conference ahead of the Champions League clash with Bodo/Glimt, Bergvall says that he now sees himself as a number 10 under Frank.

As quoted by Football London, he said: "I feel like I'm getting better every day. I played a bit of an eight in the beginning, now more of a 10 in the end.

"And it feels like I'm adding more and more to my game every day.

"So yeah, I try to help the team with contributions, with goals and assists as well. So just getting better every day and improving, yeah."

The Swedish international has started four games this season in the Premier League as he looks to announce himself as a regular starter in the Premier League.

Frank has options in the middle

Thomas Frank did wonders at Brentford, gaining promotion and keeping them in the Premier League for four seasons.

He moved to Spurs in the summer and has started well.

However, the Spurs side is stacked with Midfielders, giving Frank a headache when it comes to team selection.

The likes of Bergvall, Paulinha, and Bentancur have cemented their positions for now, but with players such as Sarr, Kulusevski, and Bissouma on the benc,h anything could change.
