Lucas Bergvall discontent shared at Tottenham after recent Thomas Frank developments
Lucas Bergvall's situation at Tottenham has changed drastically in recent weeks.
The midfield starlet has gone from strength to strength since he joined from Djurgardens in the summer of 2024, and his importance in N17 has grown with every passing month since his arrival.
Bergvall's performances for Tottenham are likely to have seen his value skyrocket since the start of the season, as he continues to make a name for himself in the Premier League.
The Sweden international has been a key performer for Thomas Frank since he was appointed in the summer, but the landscape has changed significantly for him in recent weeks.
Lucas Bergvall to 'feel aggrieved' by lack of gametime at Tottenham
Bergvall had a difficult night for Tottenham in the Champions League on Wednesday, as his performance in the 0-0 draw with Monaco left a lot to be desired.
The youngster hasn't played a lot of football recently, and that appeared to have caught up with him, in what was a sub-par display on the French Riviera.
The 19-year-old has been dropped from the starting XI by Frank in each of the last two Premier League games, despite him exerting such a positive influence in the early stages of the campaign.

Ex-Tottenham scout Bryan King - speaking exclusively to Tottenham News - believes that Bergvall will be frustrated by the recent developments, but also adds that it serves as a learning curve for the starlet.
"It’s always difficult if you’re not in the team," King said.
“This is what happens to young players, and he (Bergvall) will feel aggrieved by it all. It’s just a learning curve for him. When you look at Tottenham, they are overloaded with midfield players, so somebody is going to have to miss out.
“He’s not yet a star, he’s done very well, and he’s surprised a lot of people. He might feel aggrieved, but he’s still a big part of the first-team squad."

Bergvall wasn't the only Tottenham player who struggled against Monaco on Wednesday night, but his lack of care with the ball at times certainly caught the eye.
The midfielder made two errors that led directly to a shot for the opposition, according to WhoScored via their X account, a tally which no player has surpassed in the Champions League so far this season.
It was a night when things simply didn't come off for the youngster, but he cannot allow his confidence to be knocked too much.
As a creative player, he will always be relied upon to produce moments of quality, and that naturally comes with taking risks, which won't always pay off.
