Lucá Williams-Barnett appears to be firmly on Ange Postecoglou's radar at Tottenham.

Postecoglou hasn't proven shy when it comes to handing young players opportunities this season.

Mikey Moore is the most obvious example of that, with Will Lankshear also making his debut for the club this term, while Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall have been constant fixtures of the first team.

Therefore, it is no surprise to see that several exciting young players have travelled with Spurs to Turkey ahead of their UEFA Europa League clash with Galatasaray at RAMS Park on Thursday (7 November).

Spurs posted a video via their official X account on Wednesday (6 November) showcasing the players boarding the club's flight to Turkey.

Within that video, several of the club's academy players could be seen joining the first team, including Alfie Dorrington, who has been mooted to make his first-team debut in the Europa League this season.

However, it was Under-18s sensation Williams-Barnett who was perhaps the most exciting spot.

Ange Postecoglou to hand Lucá Williams-Barnett first-team debut at Tottenham?

Williams-Barnett has been tearing the Under-18 Premier League to shreds this season. His form has been so devastating, that the 16-year-old has been described as "the standout star" of the Under-18 Premier League.

What makes this even more impressive, is that this is Williams-Barnett's first full season of Under-18 football. The wideman just can't stop scoring for Stuart Lewis' side, and this has clearly caught Postecoglou's eye.

Just being included on the club's trip to Istanbul will be a huge boost for the Spurs sensation. However, things could get even better for him.

Williams-Barnett was born after 1 January 2023, which means he can be registered on Spurs' B List squad for the Europa League, a list which Postecoglou has until 24 hours before kick-off against Galatasaray to submit.

Therefore, while there is no guarantee that he will make his debut at RAMS Park, Williams-Barnett is at least on the plane. As a result, if things are going well for Tottenham against Galatasaray, there is every chance he could be handed some minutes.
