Tottenham are making serious moves in the transfer market after a predictable start to the window.

The Lilywhites have turned a couple of loan deals into permanent stays, with Mathys Tel and Kevin Danso now committed in North London.

Elsewhere, there has been talk of Thomas Frank eyeing a reunion with Brentford's Yoane Wissa, who performed admirably last season.

However, it is a different player who has caught the eye of former Spurs player Jamie O'Hara.

O'Hara ecstatic as Tottenham near transfer agreement

Tottenham have reportedly entered talks to sign Wissa, who, like Bryan Mbeumo, could leave the Bees this summer.

Wissa enjoyed a stellar 2024/25 season in West London and established himself as a serious goal threat in Frank's side.

The forward notched 25 goal contributions in all competitions, including 19 goals in the Premier League.

With that move seemingly gathering pace, Spurs are also closing in on a deal for Nottingham Forest captain Morgan Gibbs-White.

The deal has been evolving frantically, and the latest news is that the midfielder is to undergo a medical in North London on Friday.

The England international played a key role for Forest last season, notching 15 goal contributions as the East Midlands side landed a European place.

O'Hara took to social media to express his joy at the news by posting a message on X (10 July).

He wrote: "What am I seeing? This is what we're talking about."

Spurs set to make statement with Gibbs-White signing

If Frank is going to fight on all fronts next season, then he needs a squad brimming with quality players.

Indeed, the North London club have been making significant strides to do just that by nearing deals for Kudus and Gibbs-White.

The fact that Manchester City were linked with a move for the 25-year-old just months ago tells you all you need to know about the attacking midfielder.

Gibbs-White has been a leader on the pitch and a talisman as Forest enjoyed their best season in decades.

At £60million, the Englishman can be signed at a respectable price, while not breaking the bank.

Now, he is set for an integral role in North London and can be a leading performer for Frank.
