Tottenham's win over Leeds United has been one of the Premier League's main talking points, intended or not.

Thomas Frank ended his winless streak against Daniel Farke to secure all three points at Elland Road in the Premier League.

As well as the personal victory, Frank also ended Tottenham's seven-game winless record before an international break.

It was smiles all round for the Lilywhites, who are currently third in the Premier League, but not all parts of their performance went off without a hitch.

James McClean calls out Pedro Porro's injury theatrics

Mohammed Kudus stole the show against Leeds, netting his first Tottenham goal in style.

Mathys Tel also proved to Frank why he deserves a starting spot at Spurs when he netted the opener for the Lilywhites, something Richarlison has been unable to do since their draw to Brighton at the American Express Stadium.

However, Porro was one of Frank's poorer performers in Spurs' hard-fought win over Leeds, making one huge error which led to a shot for the opposition, according to Sofascore.

  • He was dribbled past twice during the game
  • Just one of his 15 long balls was accurate and he committed two fouls
  • Porro lost possession 27 times

But his dreadful display was not the only thing to leave a sour taste among viewers, with Wrexham winger James McClean taking to his Instagram stories on 4 October to criticise the defender after he went down during the game.

He said: "Grown men after getting a kick or a knock, screaming, rolling about, staying down, to the two minutes later being back up and fine, is having pride as a man and being afraid of being shamed now completely gone in this day and age?"

While his perceived injury theatrics have been a point of contention among Tottenham fans, it is safe to say that his lacklustre performance would've been his greatest concern following the game.

With Destiny Udogie back from injury, and Djed Spence one of Spurs' best performers, Porro will need to be more consistent or may be forced to accept a peripheral role at Tottenham.

Pedro Porro has one key area he needs to work on

One of the issues with the Spaniard's game since arriving in North London is his lapses of concentration when defending.

He has already committed two errors, which have led to a shot on goal in the Premier League. For reference, this is the most among Spurs' starting defenders this season.

The fullback is greatly appreciated for his attacking plays and ability on the ball, but with Frank determined to build a strong defensive core, Porro may find himself outmanoeuvred in the coming weeks.
