Tottenham are zoning in on a move to sign Jack Grealish from Manchester City.

Grealish, 29, looks destined to leave the Etihad this summer after starting just seven times in the Premier League for Man City last season.

The former Aston Villa star has been linked with multiple clubs during discussions about his future in Manchester and one of those regularly mentioned is Tottenham Hotspur.

Although Spurs are currently without a manager after sacking Ange Postecoglou, technical director Johan Lange and the club's recruitment team will be working hard on potential new signings for the Australian's successor.

Tottenham show real interest in signing Man City outcast Grealish

Grealish is regularly linked and, according to talkSPORT on Tuesday (10 June), Tottenham hold a "genuine interest" in signing him.

The broadcaster reported via Instagram that there are other teams in the race to sign the 39-time England international, who'll be looking for a fresh start away from Pep Guardiola's Man City this summer.

It's the World Cup next year and Grealish will no doubt have his sights on making Thomas Tuchel's squad.

As he'll turn 30 in September, the 2026 competition in Canada, USA and Mexico could be his final opportunity to represent the Three Lions on the biggest stage of them all.

TalkSPORT adds that there's an "acceptance that his time at Man City is over", meaning it's agreed that he'll be finding a new club in the summer transfer window.

How much does Jack Grealish earn a week?

Daniel Levy runs a tight ship at Tottenham Hotspur and not a single penny is spent without his say-so.

However, while Spurs' PSR calculations look good, they still owe over £330million in unpaid transfer fees, with a huge chunk of that being owed this summer.

Tottenham also have a huge £872.1million debt from building their new stadium.

Grealish is on a lot of money at Manchester City.

His £300,000-a-week wages there are likely to trump that of any Spurs player or any contract that Levy has ever agreed in his life.

For a player who's arguably past his best, Tottenham will struggle to justify paying anywhere near that for the Birmingham-born maestro.
