Harry Kane raves about forward Tottenham are now trying to sign

Harry Kane has raved about how "committed" Mathys Tel is amid his recent links to Tottenham.

The Frenchman has recently been linked with a North London switch after asking to leave Bayern Munich a week or so ago.

A number of other teams are also interested in acquiring the youngster's services but at the moment, it seems that Tottenham are the team leading the way.

In quotes relayed by the print edition of the Sun (30 January, page 46), Kane shared his thoughts on what Tel bring to the table.

"[He] always pushes himself and is fully committed," he said.

It's no secret that the 2024/25 season has been far from perfect for Ange Postecoglou and his men.

Tottenham are currently sitting 15th in the Premier League table and with the recent form they've shown, it's hard to see how they're going to be able to break into the top half of the table without any additions.

Numerous names have been linked with a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the winter transfer window but Antonin Kinsky is the only player to have actually made the switch so far.

At the moment, it's evident that Spurs need attacking reinforcement and the fact that Tel can play across the front three could be an extremely valuable asset for Postecoglou to have among his ranks.

Additionally, the fact he's only 19 years old also plays in Spurs' favour as there's still plenty of time for him to develop into an even better player than he already is.

In other Tottenham news, Daniel Levy could end up making a decision about Spurs that would reflect rather poorly on him.
