Graham Roberts has slammed Rory Jennings for suggesting that Tottenham will sack Ange Postecoglou soon.

Spurs battered Manchester City 4-0 in the Premier League on 23 November at the Etihad Stadium, with James Maddison's brace followed by Pedro Porro and Brennan Johnson's strikes.

Speaking on The Club before the City fixture, Jennings said that the Lilywhites' form was "sackable", and Robert took to X to make his feelings known about the remarks.

"[Jennings] you do talk so much [expletive] you haven't got a clue about football. Get a proper job, as on this channel, you talk garbage every week."

Ange Postecoglou has been immense at Tottenham

Postecoglou has revolutionised how Tottenham play football with an exciting, high-tempo approach, something the supporters were keen on before his arrival.

With Spurs' defence pushing forward, opposition teams have struggled to cope with the pressure.

While the Lilywhites' current style hasn't always proven fruitful, and fans would like to see the Australian manager deploy a different plan at times, he has unarguably changed the mood around N17.

Under Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo and Antonio Conte, Tottenham's defensive approach to games was often unpleasant to the eyes and didn't end the trophy drought.

Now, with a different style of play, while there's a lack of consistency, entertainment can always be assured in a Spurs game.

Against some relatively weaker oppositions, the Lilywhites have struggled to break down defences, but Postecoglou has shown that he can go toe to toe with the biggest sides in the Premier League over the last few months.

The win against Pep Guardiola's team in the league wasn't an anomaly, with the Australian manager getting the better of City in the Carabao Cup on 30 October.

Postecoglou has repeatedly shown that he's the right man for the job at the North London outfit, and any suggestions of him being sacked are foolish.
