Beth England has helped Tottenham Women turn their season around in recent weeks.

After a run of five defeats from six matches, Robert Vilahamn's side are now unbeaten in their last four games, with the emergence of goalkeeper Eleanor Heeps certainly helping.

And while Heeps has been keeping the goals out at one end of the pitch, England has rediscovered her shooting boots at the other end, scoring three goals in her last three matches.

As a result, the striker has been nominated for the Barclays Women’s Super League’s December Player of the Month award [via Spurs' official website, 20 December].

As well as England, Vilahamn has also been recognized for Spurs' recent form, with the Swede nominated for the Barclays Women’s Super League's December Manager of the Month award [via Spurs' official website, 20 December].

And the Spurs boss owes a big thank you to England for that nomination.

The first of the 30-year-old's goals this month came during a 2-1 WSL win over Everton Women at Brisbane Road [8 December], where England struck twice.

In addition to her goals, the 30-year-old also played three key passes and won 80 per cent of her aerial duels [Sofascore].

She then scored her third of the month in a 1-1 WSL draw with Brighton Women at Broadfield Stadium [14 December]. That day, as well as her strike, England chipped in defensively, making four clearances and one interception.

Robert Vilahamn enjoyed a positive first season in charge of Tottenham Women.

And Vilahamn will hope that the striker continues this run of form into 2025 when Spurs return to action.
