Dominic Solanke and Rodrigo Bentancur were caught in an embarrassing moment in the Premier League match between Tottenham and Wolves.

Spurs drew 2-2 against Vitor Pereira's relegation-threatened team in North London on Sunday (29 December).

Bentancur and Solanke were in the Spurs starting lineup, with the Uruguay international equalising for the North Londoners in the 12th minute.

Ange Postecoglou's team led the game going into the break after Brennan Johson found the back of the net just before halftime.

Jorgen Strand Larsen ensured the Lilywhites continued their winless run after beating Fraser Forster in the 87th minute.

Spurs fans wouldn't have been pleased with a draw, but the incident with their striker and midfielder would've been even more frustrating.

ESPN revealed images on their X account (29 December) showing the collision between the Englishman and the Uruguayan in the Wolves box.

With the fixture tied at 1-1, Dejan Kulusevski cut the Wolverhampton club's defence with his cut-back, setting up a potential clear opportunity for the North Londoners.

Bentancur and Solanke both attempted to get to the ball and shoot but collided with each other instead.

Son Heung-min's missed penalty must have also left fans scratching their heads.

The Lilywhites have faced some tumultuous few weeks, losing to Liverpool and Nottingham Forest before dropping points against Wolves.

Postecoglou looks to be under pressure, as Spurs are in the bottom half of the English top flight heading into January.

The North London club have lost nine games in the current campaign, which is evidently unacceptable for the supporters, and Daniel Levy has to make a big decision regarding the Australian's future.
