Ange Postecoglou seems to be running out of answers as his sack at Tottenham now appears to be on the cards.

A 2-1 defeat at home against a Leicester City side that was struggling to find a win and in real relegation threat means that the writing could be on the wall for the Australian.

The fans booed the Australian and the team off the pitch and it seems like Daniel Levy has no choice but to go out and sack him.

Ange Postecoglou's time at Tottenham could now be done

The match against Leicester was a stark indicator of the eroding faith in Postecoglou's leadership at Spurs.

A home defeat by a 2-1 scoreline to a relegation-threatened side underscored a significant loss of confidence among both players and fans.

The players seemed to lack the tactical coherence and motivation that should characterise a team under a manager's clear vision, reflecting poorly on the Australian's strategy and training methods.

This lack of belief was palpably evident as the fans' frustration boiled over into boos, not just directed at the performance on the pitch but specifically targeting the manager himself, signalling a breakdown in the relationship between him and the supporters.

Despite this, Levy and the board appear to be the last bastions of support for Postecoglou, though even this backing seems precarious.

The mounting pressure and poor results suggest that this support might waver if performances continue to decline, potentially leading to his dismissal.
