Ange Postecoglou would be wise to replace Tottenham forward Brennan Johnson at half-time against Bournemouth.

The Cherries struck first in the Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium on Thursday [5 December].

It was Dean Huijsen who headed the hosts in front from a corner in the 17th minute. Spurs struggled to respond to going behind, with Kepa having very little to do in the Bournemouth goal.

Despite dominating possession, the North London side offered nothing going forward.

Therefore, Postecoglou might be considering an attacking change at the break, with Johnson, who is mooted to be unhappy with Spurs' supporters, the player who should make way for the visitors.

Johnson was nowhere to be seen in the first half on the South Coast.

As per Sofascore, the Welshman completed just 62 per cent of his passes, with none of those key, while zero per cent of his crosses into the box were accurate.

In addition, while he did win three of his five ground duels, he also lost the one aerial duel he contested and was dribbled past once, while also giving possession away 10 times. As a result, Postecoglou is likely to be unimpressed.

The Australian made some big selection calls ahead of kick-off, with Son Heung-min left on the bench. Therefore, the South Korean could perhaps replace Johnson in the second half.
