Ange Postecoglou would be wise to replace Tottenham ace Dejan Kulusevski at half-time against Brentford.

Thomas Frank's side took the lead inside the first minute at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday (21 September).

After their disappointing display during their 2-1 Carabao Cup win at Coventry City on Wednesday (18 September), Spurs were under pressure to show a response against the Bees.

Therefore, this was an absolute nightmare start for Postecoglou. Luckily, Dominic Solanke got Tottenham level with his first goal for the club only seven minutes later, taking a bit of pressure off of his manager.

And Brennan Johnson put the hosts ahead midway through the first half with his second goal in as many games as he continues to hit back at his critics.

However, this game is far from won, and on a day when Postecoglou can't afford anything less than three points, he would be wise to replace Kulusevski at half-time.

Ange Postecoglou must axe Dejan Kulusevski at half-time in Tottenham v Brentford

Kulusevski changed the game for Spurs against Coventry City.

However, he has been far from his best against Brentford. As per Sofascore, the Swede has provided just one accurate cross into the box from three attempts, while he has also lost all four of his ground duels and been dribbled past twice.

In addition, just 50 per cent of his long balls forward have been accurate, while he has also given possession away nine times and completed just 71 per cent of his passes, although two of those have been key.

Postecoglou can't afford any slip-ups in the second half, and Kulusevski is simply not at his best. As a result, he needs to be axed.
