Ange Postecoglou would be wise to replace Tottenham ace Dejan Kulusevski at half-time against Arsenal.

It was a cagey start to the North London derby on Sunday (15 September).

Both teams had chances at either end. However, Arsenal will probably feel as though they had the more clear-cut opportunities and therefore should be ahead at the break.

There was a flashpoint midway through the first half when a Jurrien Timber challenge on Pedro Porro sparked a brawl, which led to the Arsenal defender and Guglielmo Vicario both receiving bookings.

Postecoglou needs to change something in the second half, especially with five of his players on bookings, and Kulusevski should be the man to make way.

Kulusevski has been heavily involved in the first half. However, the Swede has lacked quality on the ball.

He has completed just 64 per cent of his passes, with all three of his crosses into the box inaccurate (Sofascore).

In addition, he completed just one of his two dribble attempts and won just four of his 12 ground duels. He also gave possession away 10 times and was dribbled past once.

His discipline was poor too, with the 24-year-old making three fouls and receiving a booking in stoppage time of the first half.

The game is there for the taking for Tottenham. However, the Spurs boss needs to be brave and shake things up at the break.
