Tottenham fans will love old Son-Heung Min footage after Christian Eriksen scare
Christian Eriksen left the footballing world worried after his second heart scare while playing for Denmark this week.
The former Tottenham star suffered a cardiac arrest five years ago while the Danes entertained Greece in the European Championships.
That saw Eriksen fitted with an ICD, something that was needed on Sunday against Ukraine.
Worryingly, the playmaker collapsed again, but this time, his ICD thankfully responded and delivered a shock to work as needed.
It brought back horrible memories again, though, and he is now focusing on his recovery with his family.
Footage of Son Heung-Min has started to resurface online since the incident, when his former teammate shared his love after the first trouble.
Tottenham bond keeps Son and Eriksen close
The whole footballing world loves Eriksen, and the same can definitely be said about Son.
Following the first incident, Son ran to the cameras after scoring for South Korea, sending a message to his teammate.
"Christian, stay strong. I love you," he said, while holding up his number 23 with his hands.
After it happened again, Tottenham fans will be thinking the exact same thing and will love the footage of their hero.
What next for Christian Eriksen?
Eriksen released a statement after the incident, thanking everyone involved for keeping him safe.
The only football mentioned was with his kids, which is certainly the smart decision right now, with a summer break ahead.
The likes of Lucas Moura, Robbie Keane and Manuel Neuer all sent their best wishes, and right now, his health is all that matters.
Eriksen is currently contracted at Wolfsburg, with another year left on his two-year deal that he signed after leaving Manchester United.
The Germans were actually relegated from the Bundesliga last season, so nobody knows what the future holds there.
Son is currently preparing for another World Cup in North America, and it will be a shame that Erisken isn't there too, given that Denmark failed to quality against Scotland.
For now, Tottenham fans will love the old footage of Son, and will be reiterating that message from five years ago to Erisken once again.
Keep strong, Christian, North London is with you again.
