Tottenham attacker Wilson Odobert is expected back in training during or after the international break post his hamstring injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that the 19-year-old is out with a Grade 3 hamstring setback and given the club's official update, it does look like a serious blow.

The Frenchman moved to Spurs this summer from Burnley and has made three Premier League appearances for Ange Postecoglou's side.

Discussing the state of play with Odobert exclusively with Tottenham NewsDr Brara doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:

"This sounds like a Grade 3 hamstring injury.

"If that is the case, typically looking at over three to four weeks out.

"The club confirmed that it’s not looking good so that’s never a good sign.

"If all things go as per plan, he could be back in full training during or after the international break."

Wilson Odobert is a decent option off the bench for Tottenham

Odobert is a decent option to have on the bench for Postecoglou and he's performing at an impressive level for a 19-year-old.

He showed sparks of his brilliance at Burnley last season which is what appears to have caught the eyes of the Spurs hierarchy.

Hopefully, once he returns, he will manage to stay injury-free and contribute whenever needed this season.
