Tottenham supporters are concerned that Dejan Kulusevski might have picked up an injury in the 3-2 win against Hoffenheim on Thursday.

Ange Postecoglou eased some of the pressure on his shoulders as Spurs picked up three points in the UEFA Europa League at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena on 23 January - although the match wasn't short of controversy.

The Australian was criticised for his decision to start Son Heung-min. However, the South Korean silenced his doubters by scoring twice in Germany - although the 32-year-old cut a tired figure at times.

Son wasn't the only player who looked exhausted throughout the match, with James Maddison alluding to Spurs' damaging injury crisis as of late as the Tottenham playmaker shared an image of the players celebrating the win to his personal X account (23 January), alongside the caption, "Sticking together in adversity. Proud of the team tonight."

However, a few fans have been left concerned by the post as Kulusevski appeared to potentially be receiving treatment from the medical team.

Maddison performed well against Hoffenheim, making Postecoglou's decision to hardly use the 28-year-old in recent weeks look rather stupid.

However, after his performance, the Englishman will be expecting to start a lot more in the coming weeks - and he might be forced to if fans' fears of Kulusevski being injured are realised.

Spurs already have enough injury issues to contend with. Therefore, the last thing the club or Postecoglou need is for Kulusevski to be ruled out.

Crucial cup matches against Liverpool and Aston Villa are on the horizon, and with Postecoglou's future potential depending on the results of these games, the Australian will need Kulusevski fit and firing.
