Tottenham supporters face an anxious wait for an update on Destiny Udogie after a fresh development on Sunday.

While Spurs have nothing left to play for in the Premier League, in less than two weeks, Ange Postecoglou and his players will take part in the North London club's biggest game in almost six years.

Tottenham will travel to Bilbao to contest the UEFA Europa League final against Manchester United at the Estadio de San Mamés on Wednesday, 21 May.

Therefore, Postecoglou will need his key players to be fit. However, concerns have now emerged that Udogie has suffered a fresh injury setback.

Udogie missing from Tottenham squad v Crystal Palace

Postecoglou will already be without James Maddison and Lucas Bergvall against Manchester United.

As a result, the Australian cannot afford to lose too many more players. However, the Spurs boss has now sparked concerns that Udogie might have suffered a fresh injury setback after naming his team to take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (11 May).

While Son Heung-min returns to the bench in a timely boost, Udogie is nowhere to be seen, leading to supporters on social media calling for clarity over the situation.

Postecoglou must provide an update on Udogie

Udogie and Rodrigo Bentancur have both been left out of matchday squads in recent weeks to be rested. Therefore, there is every chance that this is once again the case with the former.

However, Postecoglou should still issue an update on Udogie to put supporters' minds at ease. With time ticking down to such a big game, fans are likely to already be extremely anxious.

Therefore, the last thing they need is to worry about a fresh injury setback. Udogie has been in great form as of late, and he will be needed against Manchester United.
