Tottenham have made good progress in adding to their squad during the Premier League's off-season.

Thomas Frank has already brought in West Ham winger Mohammad Kudus for £55million, with Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White also linked.

While beating Ange Postecoglou's Europa League triumph will be tough, Tottenham will at least look to improve on their dismal domestic campaign.

Given Spurs' recent success in the transfer market, Tottenham News assesses how Frank's squad value differs from their North London rivals Arsenal.

Tottenham have the fifth most valuable squad in the Premier League

Despite their shortcomings in the top tier, Tottenham are valued as having the fifth most valuable squad.

According to Transfermarkt, the Lilywhites squad is valued at £733.1million.

New Tottenham ace Kudus is said to be valued at just shy of £40m, with the signing of the West Ham forward helping Tottenham leapfrog Manchester United in the list for most valuable squad.

Manchester City are ranked top with a value of £1.16bn, with North London rivals Arsenal ranked third with their squad worth £1.01bn.

Title winners Liverpool are ranked fourth at £930m, while Chelsea's inflated squad ranks second at £1.1bn.

The site lists Tottenham as having 34 players, compared to Chelsea's 46.

Tottenham to expect more incomings and outgoings

Spurs' squad size is still large compared to the likes of Arsenal, who have 25 senior players.

With Frank looking to build a side that suits him this summer, it wouldn't be surprising if there are more outgoing and hopefully more statement signings in the coming weeks.

Tottenham won't be concerned by the difference in value between them and their North London rivals, but they will be disappointed should it again show on the pitch.
