Tottenham line up financial boost after ‘incredible’ stadium announcement
Daniel Levy has once again found a way to generate revenue after an announcement concerning the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Despite speculation over his future, Ange Postecoglou will be looking to end a disappointing season on a high by winning the UEFA Europa League.
Tottenham will take on Manchester United at the Estadio de San Mamés on Wednesday (21 May).
Thousands of Spurs supporters are expected to make the trip to Bilbao, hoping to inspire Postecoglou’s side to get over the line in Spain.
Meanwhile, back home in North London, Levy has been thinking up ways to make some extra cash.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to host Europa League final screening
Levy looks to have secured another lucrative payday in North London with the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium set to host a screening of the Europa League final.
It was initially announced that additional screens would not be placed on the pitch due to the Premier League fixture against Brighton on Sunday (25 May), a decision criticised by Spurs supporters.
Revenue | June 2024 | June 2023 |
£m | £m | |
Match receipts | 105.8 | 117.6 |
UEFA prize money | 1.3 | 56.2 |
TV and media | 165.9 | 148.1 |
Commercials and Other income | 255.2 | 227.7 |
Total Revenue | 528.2 | 549.6 |
However, Tottenham have since performed a popular U-turn, confirming that extra screens will be on full display at the stadium, an announcement one fan described as “incredible”.
As a result, demand increased, and tickets, which are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children, began to sell out, which forced the Lilywhites to open more parts of the stadium to feed demand.
Tottenham will be able to profit further through the sale of food and drink during the event.

Levy has no excuse not to spend at Tottenham
The decision is a nice gesture to the supporters who have backed their club despite a turbulent season; however, when the euphoria wears off and the new season begins, fans will be expecting more from Levy.
A continuation of this season’s results, particularly in the Premier League, will not be accepted.
Whether a new manager is appointed or Postecoglou is still at the helm, full financial backing will be needed if Spurs want to compete for all trophies next year.
Furthermore, a Europa League final win would mean automatic UEFA Champions League qualification, and after what would be an impressive stint in Europe, Tottenham cannot afford to take their foot off the gas in the future.
Thus, Spurs must profit big to spend big if the club is to continue its reign in Europe for the coming years.
