Tottenham insider raves about Tyrese Hall after what midfielder did to £19m Chelsea player
John Wenham has piled praise on Tyrese Hall after his performance for the Tottenham Under-21s against Chelsea's Under-21s.
The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose was delighted by the way Hall handled £19million Chelsea summer signing Omari Kellyman (via BBC Sport, 29 June).
And Wenham - speaking exclusively to Tottenham News - has praised the work of Under-21s boss Wayne Burnett.
“To go to Chelsea and win is very impressive,” Wenham said.
“This was a Chelsea team which included £19million summer signing Kellyman, who played the entire second half.
“He was absolutely pocketed by Hall and George Abbott in midfield. In addition, Hall also grabbed two goals and won the game for Tottenham.
“Hall is just continuing to improve, and it is fantastic to see more young players coming through at Under-21 level. What a job Burnett is doing there.”

Hall has burst onto the scene in North London over the past year or so.
As a result of his impressive performances with the Under-21s last season he was handed some minutes on Spurs' pre-season tour ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
He is yet to feature in a first-team squad this season. However, with the UEFA Europa League set to get underway in September, that could soon change.
As a result, the 19-year-old will no doubt be keen to continue making an impression with the Under-21s to earn himself a first-team promotion.
