Tottenham insider raves about 'massive talent' as Mikey Moore contract claim emerges

John Wenham believes Tottenham Under-18 ace Callum Olusesi was key to Mikey Moore signing a new contract in North London.

The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose has described the 17-year-old midfielder as a "massive talent" and detailed his special relationship with Moore.

Olusesi and Moore both signed new contracts in North London last summer.

And Wenham - speaking exclusively to Tottenham News - claims Olusesi's decision to sign first was a big influence on Moore.

“He is a massive talent,” Wenham said.

“Moore’s best friend on and off the pitch. A really good player with leadership skills who can play anywhere in midfield.

“He is making good progress and his decision to sign a new contract last summer was a big indicator that Moore would also extend his stay with the club.

“Those two are incredibly tight off the field.”

It is always helpful when two players have a connection off the pitch.

That understanding and familiarity allow the players to link up on the pitch and cause problems for the opposition.

If Moore and Olusesi could translate their form at youth level to the first-team, it could be very exciting for Tottenham supporters.

Not only are Moore and Olusesi close friends, but they are both promising players in their own right too.

They have both demonstrated plenty of ability in the academy, and it might not be long until Spurs fans catch a glimpse of the duo at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
