Tottenham and Daniel Levy set for lucrative payday after announcement on Tuesday

Daniel Levy is continuing to turn the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium into one of the hottest entertainment venues on the planet.

Love him or hate him, it is hard to deny Levy’s brilliance when it comes to generating cash in North London.

Not long ago Tottenham played their football at White Hart Lane, a stadium which could only dream of hosting concerts, NFL matches and boxing events.

Now, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium stands in its place, a venue which makes hosting that calibre of events look easy.

Plenty of music superstars have already made their presence felt in N17 including the likes of Beyonce and Guns N Roses, with Grammy-nominated hip-hop star Travis Scott now set to join that list.

As per the Tottenham Hotspur Official Website (7 May), Scott will bring his UTOPIA – Circus Maximus Tour to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday 11 July for what will be his largest UK headline show to date.

As per the official press release, “Scott’s critically acclaimed album UTOPIA was the biggest-selling hip-hop release of 2023, holding strong at No.1 on the Billboard Top 200 for four weeks running, and garnering over 50 billion streams globally.

“Additionally, Spotify named UTOPIA the most streamed album in its first week in 2023, and Apple Music confirmed the biggest first-day streams of an album in 2023.”

These are some impressive numbers which almost guarantee that Scott’s performance will attract a sell-out crowd in North London.

And what that means is more money in Levy and Spurs’ pockets, with the club estimated to be making somewhere between £1.5million and £2million from these types of events.

While other Premier League grounds across the country will lie dormant, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will continue to bring in revenue, with Pearl Jam also set to take to the stage this summer.

It is yet another example of Levy’s brilliance, and as long as these concerts and non-football events continue, the revenue generated will only increase in North London.

In other Tottenham news, Levy is to hand Postecoglou an increased transfer budget after a “huge” financial boost in North London.
