Tottenham and Daniel Levy set for lucrative payday after announcement on Thursday

Daniel Levy is running out of excuses not to spend big in transfer windows with Tottenham set for yet another lucrative payday in North London.

Levy has endured arguably his most difficult season as Spurs chairman.

Tottenham’s wretched form during the 2024/25 campaign, which has left Ange Postecoglou “99 per cent likely” to be sacked, has caused plenty of frustration among Spurs fans.

And a lot of that frustration has been aimed at Levy, which has forced the 62-year-old to make desperate pleas to the Tottenham faithful.

However, with yet another big payday lined up at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after an announcement on Thursday (27 March), there is no reason why Levy can’t silence some of his critics with some big-money moves this summer.

Levy secures another payday at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

There is no denying Levy’s ability to secure lucrative deals at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with another big sponsorship deal on the cards for Spurs after a multi-million INEOS development.

However, what supporters take issue with is how the money raised in North London is being used.

Therefore, with Tottenham set for yet another big-money payday, Levy is going to have no choice but to sign off on some marquee signing before next season.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium looks as though it will be the hottest venue in London this summer, with the likes of Beyoncé, Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, and 50 Cent all set to take to the stage in N17.

And Chris Brown has become the latest act to be announced as a performer at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the musician set to bring the ‘Breezy Bowl 2025’ to Spurs on 21 June.

Tottenham fans will demand success

Spurs’ commercial growth is, no doubt, brilliant news. However, this will only increase expectations among the fanbase.

It has been more than 17 years since Spurs supporters have seen their team lift a trophy, and if Tottenham are going to continue making money through concerts and other external events, that money needs to be reinvested into the squad.
