Radu Dragusin could leave Tottenham after Ange Postecoglou shortlisted David Hancko ahead of the January transfer window.

The Romania international has struggled for regular game time since moving to North London from Genoa last winter.

Despite a string of top performances at the EUROs, the 22-year-old has been unable to reflect his international form on the domestic stage for Spurs.

This could see Postecoglou look to sign an alternative to the centre back, which could leave his future in limbo.

Tottenham could replace Radu Dragusin with David Hancko

There was plenty of excitement when the ex-Juventus ace signed in N17 but his showings haven't met the expectations of supporters in his first year since signing.

This has seen Dragusin make just 25 appearances in 11 months in England, which could be set to end already if the Spurs boss gets his January transfer wish.

The 27-year-old has put in some excellent performances so far this campaign, impressing in the Champions League against Manchester City in a noteworthy showing.

This could prove to be the signing that is needed at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero set to miss multiple weeks through injuries.

Although the defensive depth is needed for Spurs, in a year where PSR has been an issue for many clubs, selling Dragusin may be needed to bring the Slovakia international in this winter.
