New Tottenham footage is something that their rivals simply cannot replicate
Tottenham Hotspur have received their fair share of criticism from Premier League rivals in recent years.
Given the 'Spursy' tag, the Lilywhites have been the nearly men of the division for a long while.
At the same time, performances have continued to worsen on the pitch.
Twice in two years, Spurs have finished 17th in the Premier League - a position simply not good enough for a club with such high ambitions.
Despite this, Tottenham remain a global powerhouse, in terms of relevance, and their financial health - something they deserve their praise for
And based on footage emerging this week, the Lilywhites boast an advantage that their rivals cannot replicate, something that Daniel Levy deserves his praise for.
Tottenham's stadium is now more than a football ground
Given everything that has happened to Spurs in recent years, the club have become somewhat of a punching bag for rivals.
As a result, fans have continued to question whether they still deserve the 'big six' tag, and whether or not they should be considered a big club at all.
But, recent footage from the BTS concert at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium makes all of these points irrelevant.
In footage shared by a local taxi service on X, the stadium can be seen from a far, with a stunning pyrotechnic display produced, while the ground sits at the centre of the North London skyline
Spurs have been granted a licence to hold between 16 and 30 events at their stadium a year - something that should add over £100million worth of revenue.
Tottenham's most recent matchday revenue sat at £126m - more than three times the figure of their final White Hart Lane season, while commercial income has risen from £59m to £277m in the same time period.
The fact of the matter is that with over £100m coming from matchdays, and use of the stadium for event purposes, Tottenham have opened an entirely new financial avenue that they must be praised for.
Criticism from rivals is unfair - Tottenham have earned their spot
Certain clubs in the Premier League have taken an issue with Spurs' financial strength in recent years, despite suffering at the bottom end of the table.
But, the Lilywhites have earned this all themselves.
Across the most recent financial year, Spurs fetched around £570m in revenue, placing them ninth in the Deloitte Money League.
Whether people like it or not, Tottenham are a commercial giant, absolutely deserve praise for how they have built.
If there is any criticism for the fact that Aston Villa and Co. cannot spend, this must be directed at the Premier League's rules, not at Tottenham for simply building what is a financial giant of a football club.
