Manor Solomon has returned to Tottenham after a successful loan spell at Leeds United.

Tottenham signed Solomon from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2023, and after spending much of his debut season in North London on the sidelines, the forward joined Leeds on loan for the 2024/25 campaign.

The 25-year-old soon became a fan favourite in West Yorkshire, putting up 23 goal contributions in 41 appearances. Solomon also netted the winner against Plymouth Argyle (3 May) on the final day of the season to clinch the Championship title for Leeds.

Solomon has since returned to Spurs, but has been linked with a permanent switch to Elland Road.

Solomon reacts as Dan James signs contract extension at Leeds

Solomon's future at Tottenham remains uncertain.

It has been widely reported that Leeds would like to sign him now that they have been promoted to the Premier League.

However, Thomas Frank is keen to take a look at the winger. This could mean that Solomon is in the Danes' plans next season, although this is not guaranteed.

For now, Solomon continues to wait, and the Israel international showed his affection for Leeds by liking the Whites' post via Instagram (14 July) announcing that Daniel James has signed a new four-year contract.

Frank is spoilt for choice

Tottenham are currently building a squad to compete in the Premier League and UEFA Champions League next season.

Kudus has already been added, and the club will hope to close the legal dispute with Nottingham Forest over Morgan Gibbs-White. However, Spurs are not done yet.

With quality players already in North London and a couple more likely to follow, Frank will have his pick of the litter. This should help him to rotate more across the season and better prepare his team for the bigger European nights.
