She will graduate with a Master's in Sports Journalism from St Mary's University, Twickenham in 2025. She spent several months working for the Non-League Paper and has written for the Sports Gazette. Her earliest memory of the Lilywhites is sitting alone in her dad's room in front of the telly crying into her bowl of popcorn as she watched as her team were thrashed...yet again. She is happy to report that fonder memories have since blossomed.

The Lewis family have been spearheading change at Tottenham since the summer.

The first step was having a strong summer window, which saw the likes of Mohammed Kudus arrive at Tottenham.

The next was the £100million investment into Spurs, which fans will want to be used on future transfers.

All in all, the future looks bright for the Lilywhites, even if the Lewis family experiences a few bumps along the way after Daniel Levy's exit.

Rebecca Caplehorn to leave Tottenham next year

Highly regarded executive Rebecca Caplehorn is set to leave Tottenham in the new year, insiders via the print version of The Daily Mail (page 57, 27 October) understand.

She is Spurs' current director of football administration and has been a key behind-the-scenes figure for the club since arriving in 2015.

The outlet reports that: "There are likely to be a number of suitors for Caplehorn, in a development those within the industry will view as a blow for the club."

Indeed, Caplehorn started her Tottenham career as head of football operations after being headhunted by chairman Levy, according to the Daily Mail Sport in December 2014.

Levy was dismissed as Tottenham chairman in September after almost 25 years in North London. Despite this, the former chairman still owns his share of Spurs owners, ENIC.

  • ENIC owns a majority share of Tottenham at around 86.58 per cent
  • The remaining 13.42 per cent is owned by minority investors
  • Levy owns around 29.88 per cent of ENIC

Having been the man to bring Caplehorn to Hotspur Way, there will, of course, be speculation around whether her departure is linked to his. Either way, the news will come as a blow for the Lewis family, who are pushing to improve Tottenham on the field and financially.

What is the way forward for Tottenham?

From ambitions to host the Super Bowl to sitting third in the Premier League table, it is clear Spurs are entering a successful period.

While Caplehorn will be missed in North London, the future looks bright if Tottenham can continue to deliver on the sporting stage and beyond.

For now, the focus must be on the club's sporting results. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is arguably the best venue in the league, but a high-performing football team could help revenue reach new heights.

Therefore, Spurs' sporting success should be the Lewis family's priority moving forward, with a clear financial shake-up behind the scenes on the cards in the coming months.
