Levy doubts emerge at Tottenham as ‘change of ownership’ mentioned on talkSPORT
Tottenham supporters have not had much to cheer this season with Ange Postecoglou’s side currently 15th in the Premier League.
There is only the Europa League left to play for in north London this season, and as a result, the pressure on the boss is mounting.
However, supporters have been outspoken in their disappointment with chairman Daniel Levy too, criticising him for a lack of investment in the side for a number of seasons.

Levy given clear Tottenham choice
There has been debate throughout the campaign over who is to blame for Tottenham’s dismal season.
Postecoglou has rightly come under fire for his role to play with questions also being asked of plenty of players in the squad.
Played | Won | Drawn | Lost |
32 | 11 | 4 | 17 |
However, Levy has not impressed supporters for some time now and there have been suggestions that while he is in charge, progress will always be limited.
Winning the Europa League would save Tottenham’s season by guaranteeing another season of European football next term.
Nevertheless, there are suggestions that even if a trophy finds its way to The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it would not be enough to save the Australian’s job.
This means that Levy has plenty of thinking to do ahead of the 2025/26 season int terms of managerial appointments and also how he plans to back the boss.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (16 April, 10:56am), Simon Jordan suggested that Levy has some big calls to make as he said: “They’re at the point where they’ve got to make a decision and that decision is, are we going to try to do better on the field rather than off the field?
“There’s a drag and tag effect which is that when does the stadium start kicking in? We’ve had various callers call in and say, ‘this stadium was supposed to buy us better players and give us a better opportunity and it’s not doing that, we’re going backwards on that basis.’
“I’d say there’s a period of time where that’s got to catch up with itself.
“If you’ve got a £500million turnover and you’re prepared only to run on a 40 per cent wage ratio, then Tottenham are going to have to take a view, Daniel’s going to have to take a view, ‘am I going to stay with this and see the same outcomes? Or is there going to be a change of ownership or a change of attitude?'”
Levy has to make big Tottenham changes
If Tottenham are looking for progress and a better season next term, then there will need to be plenty of changes at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with Levy overseeing it all.
Postecoglou is not solely to blame for the struggles this season, but he certainly has not done enough to suggest he is good enough to take Spurs anywhere near where they want to be.
That means a managerial change is needed.
However, with a lack of investment and the same players, it’s hard to see who could get to where the side expects to be, which will require a change in approach from the chief.
The addition of Vinai Venkatesham to the boardroom has raised questions over whether Levy would have such a hold over proceedings or whether he would be prepared to give away some power, which could well change the way things are run.
Either way, the current position of the Lilywhites is not sustainable and surely Levy will be able to see that.
